Jai Orchards is a family-owned and operated apple orchard a village in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. The orchard was established in 1980 by Mr. Jai Prakash, who is now retired. His son, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, is now the managing director of the orchard.
Jai Orchards has a wide variety of apple trees, including Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, and Fuji. The apples are grown organically, without the use of pesticides or fertilizers. The orchard is also certified by the Safe Food for All Foundation, which ensures that the apples are safe to eat.
Jai Orchards is open to the public from July to October, which is the apple season in Himachal Pradesh. Visitors can come to the orchard to pick their own apples, or they can buy apples that have already been picked. The orchard also has a cafe where visitors can enjoy refreshments and snacks.
