In 2018, Amandeep started Sarao Dragon Fruits Farm with just 2 acres of land. He planted red and white dragon fruit vines, and he used a trellis system to support the plants. He also used organic fertilizers and pesticides to protect his crops.
In the first year, Amandeep's farm produced a small harvest of dragon fruits. However, he was encouraged by the quality of the fruit, and he continued to expand his farm. Today, Sarao Dragon Fruits Farm has 10 acres of land, and it produces over 10,000 dragon fruits per year.
Amandeep's dragon fruits are sold to retailers and wholesalers across Punjab. He is also a popular speaker at agricultural conferences, where he shares his knowledge and experience with other farmers.
